Ambassadors of Christ!

Song by Casting Crowns: "Does anybody hear her"

Ambassadors of
Christ:
Like the girl in the song, there are thousands if not millions of people running in that same direction! They do not have someone to direct them, they are lost and blinded; and do not know Jesus Christ! We need to be the salt and light of the world, we need to shine the love of Christ; we have Christ’s hope in us and we need to let it stand out so all can see the hope of Christ in us! That is what my blog is all about, sharing the love and hope of Christ!
Let’s not conceal it under a bushel but instead place it on a lampstand so all may see! As it says in Mathew 5:14-16, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”(NKJV) We as Christians are called to stand up for what we believe in, we should not be ashamed of the gospel of Christ, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”(NKJV)
Think of it as a mission to preach the gospel; we are His warriors, His messengers and His ambassadors! God is by our side; He will never leave us nor forsake us! Hebrews 13:5. (NKJV) Mmm, how can you not be completely content in Christ?!
This verse is my favorite verse, and I recite it to myself when ever I start to grow weary in this life, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagle, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” (NKJV) Isaiah 40:31. My dad used to continuously remind me not to be afraid to share the gospel; he said that God would provide strength and is present with me always! And guess what? God has, without fail!
This verse encourages me immensely when it comes to sharing the love of Christ, “So shall My word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall proper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11. (NKJV) God’s word does not return invalid or void! It fulfills what He desires!

These are some wonderful verses on the Gospel and just HOW important it is!!!

"And He said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."
Luke 10:2 (ESV)
Oh yes, we need to be those laborers!!!

"And He said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation."
Mark 16:15 (ESV)

This is a qoute by C.S Lewis on Evangelism: "Jesus Christ did not say, 'Go into the world and tell the world that it is quite right.'"

Here is a quote also on Evangelism by Billy Graham:  "We are the Bibles the world is reading; We are the creeds the world is needing; We are the sermons the world is heeding."
Let's show this world the light of Christ that we have recieved!!!

One quick encouragement, this means a great deal to me, “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7. (NKJV)
Yes, oh how beautiful! May you be encouraged to stand strong in the midst of a world that is trying all they can to thwart the gospel of Christ, may you be strengthened by Him each day in your faith and may you put your full trust in Christ as you go to share glad tidings of good things! Keep in mind; do not be ashamed to be called His child; it is the highest blessing and gift of all for us to be called His children!

Remember, only God is in control!
God bless, Amy Grace~
